"Meditative discipline is vital to dharma practice precisely because it leads us beyond the realm of ideas to that of felt-experience,"

Center's Description
We are a meditation community practicing in the tradition of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and led by members of the International Order of Interbeing.

We practice sitting and walking meditation, have dharma readings and teachings, and generally promote bringing the practice of mindful happiness into every aspect of daily life.

Our Wednesday meetings begin with one hour of meditation, which alternates 20 minutes of sitting meditation with 10 minutes of walking meditation. (Instructions are available for those who come a little early and make their desire known.)

Our second hour together begins with reciting chants or The Five Wonderful Mindfulness Trainings (please see below) followed by a dharma reading chosen by the week's leader, followed by dharma discussion.
