| Compassion KBC was established in 1998 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), a global network of over one thousand Centres and groups around the world. We are a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to helping people develop inner peace, happy minds, and to find happiness from within your own heart and solutions to your problems through following Buddha’s advice.
We provide a peaceful and inspiring environment in which people from all walks of life can learn about Buddhism and meditation. The classes and courses taught here are suitable for all individuals whatever their level of interest, from those who seek simple relaxation to those who wish to find lasting inner peace and contentment through following the Buddhist path. Open to everyone, the centre provides a year-round program of meditation classes, workshops, and retreats that offer practical advice on how to apply Buddha's teachings to our daily activities. |
