| Our group offers common ground where people of diverse faiths can meet in silent contemplation. Together we try to practice meditation in a way that supports our individual spiritualities while transcending our differences.
The form we follow is based primarily upon the Buddhist practice of Calm Abiding. The setting is also conducive to the Christian practice of Centering Prayer and many other forms. Our meetings are carefully structured to provide unifying external support, yet accommodate diverse personal orientations. Whether you are seeking to develop your spirituality, learn something new, encounter other faiths, find a spiritual home, or just need a place to meditate, you are welcome to join us. Meeting TUESDAYS, 7:30 to 9:00 P.M.* (* Between Labor Day and Memorial Day only, excluding the weeks of Thanksgiving, Xmas, and New Years) |
