| n October 2003 San Antonio Zen arose out of a wish to share with San Antonians the Dharma and sitting practice in the Soto tradition of Shunryu Suzuki, with the guidance and example of the teacher and students of the Austin Zen Center.
We aspire to wholeheartedly act to benefit all beings (including ourselves) in each moment, unconditionally, with awareness, energy, lovingkindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, relaxing with what is, to realize awakening. If you would like zazen instruction or an introduction to zen Buddhism, please contact us to arrange it. We meet at the Shambhala Center, 1112 S. St. Mary's, just south of Pig Stands restaurant.
