Center's Description
Kagyu DC maintains a dharma center on Capitol Hill under the guidance of the Venerable Lama Norlha Rinpoche.

Lama Norlha leads a group of dharma centers along the east coast, with a monastery in upstate New York, and a beautiful retreat center in nearby Charlottesville, VA.

We hold introduction to meditation classes the first Tuesday of each month.

We have regular meditation & chanting weekly as well as visiting teachers and scholars and an ongoing lecture series. See Events for current listings.

We welcome anyone who is interested in study and practise of meditation in the Kagyu tradition.
