| The Broward Lotus Sangha (BLS) is Non Profit Organization founded as a Community of Mindful Living in the tradition of Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh. Thây, as he is affectionately known to his students, was nominated by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for the Nobel Peace Price in the 1960s when they were working together to end the war in Vietnam and promote Peace on Earth.
Our organization offers Meditation Sessions, Retreats, Days of Mindfulness, Family and Children Programs, Dharma Movie Nights, Picnics-in-the-Park, Mindful Outings in Nature, and other Environmentally Conscious Dharma Activities and Special Events. Reviewed By: Phap Van This wonderful group of talented and highly spiritual people offered a magnificent retreat this weekend with Master Chan Phap Dang in Davie, FL. This Sangha meets on Sundays and Wednesdays. The teachings are clear and taught in the Universal language of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Well worth checking out http://www.browardlotussangha.org/ |
