Center's Description
The Zen Center Buppo Dojo, founded in 2004, aims to maintain a practicing environment that is open to all, both beginners and more experienced students, encouraging the practice of Buddha dharma as it has been passed on through the Soto Zen tradition.

The teaching has been transmitted to us through Roland Yuno Rech (direct disciple of Master Taisen Deshimaru), head of the dojo in Nice and Abbot of the Temple "The Gendronnière" at Blois, also the teacher of Sengyo Van Leuven (current spiritual director of Buppo Dojo).

Today Buppo Dojo is among the best known Zen centers in Rome. In addition to the regular practice of zazen, the dojo organizes regular retreats and intensive periods in the practice of sewing.

In 2013 it created the first Zen summer camp in Italy.
