""Karma," he [Buddha] often said, "is intention": i.e., a movement of the mind that occurs each time we think, speak, or act. By being mindful of this process, we come to understand how intentions lead to habitual patterns of behavior, which in turn affect the quality of our experience."
Stephen Batchelor, Buddhism Without Beliefs.

We provide overnight accommodation only for the annual sesshin and "retreats" are available only to Sei'un's students or upon a case-by-case basis to experienced practitioners. In such cases written application at least one month in advance is required. If someone is interested in becoming a student of Sei'un's, there is a mandatory 5 week orientation program (5 Thursday evenings).
