Khandakapala Buddhist Center is a Western Buddhist Meditation Temple in Los Angeles. Located near Silverlake, the center provides meditation classes and teachings in various parts of Los Angeles, including Santa Monica, Thousand Oaks, Pasadena, Studio City and West Hollywood. Taught by Westerners, the meditation classes are very easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. The classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners.

Reviewed By: David Studhalter This center is one of 800 worldwide of the New Kadampa Tradition founded by the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. www.kadampa.org. The Los Angeles Center operates satellite branches throughout the area, to make meditation and general program classes available locally to everyone. General Program instruction at the main center is Wednesday nights, and Lam Rim classes are held three times a week, including Sunday morning at 10. |
