Center's Description
GANDEN MAHAYANA BUDDHIST CENTER is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition-International Kadampa Buddhist Union, in Columbia, South Carolina. Located in the neighborhood of Shandon, the center offers meditation classes, study programs, workshops and chanted prayers.

We also offer meditation classes in various parts of South Carolina including Charleston, Greenville, Irmo, Lexington, Bluffton/Savannah GA, Spartanburg, Sumter, West Columbia and Augusta, GA and other classes in the Columbia-metro area. Taught by Westerners, the meditation classes are very easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. The classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners. You do not need to be Buddhist to attend. Everyone can participate according to their level and wish.
