Heruka Buddhist Center, located in Fort Collins, provides a peaceful, inspiring environment where people can learn about Buddhism and meditation. Meditation is an integral part of the Buddhist path. It is a powerful method to calm and focus the mind, creating inner peace and a sense of well-being. The Center caters for all levels of interest, from those who wish to meditate simply to relax and reduce the strains of everyday life, to those who wish to realize their full potential and gain a deep experience of the spiritual path. The Center was established in Fort Collins in 1999 at the request of a group of Coloradoans. Heruka Center is one of over 800 Centers of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) throughout the world. Located in Old Town, right at the center of things, we offer weekly meditation classes, a daily puja program, retreats, study programs and special classes throughout the year.
