Center's Description
The monks of Atammayatarama Buddhist Monastery love to have visitors. It is a good idea to call the temple if you are planning a visit to let them know that you are coming and to find out thier schedule for the day when you would like to visit. Exceptions to this is on Wednesday Evening or Sunday Morning or other days when activities are listed on the daily schedule or is listed on the monastery's Activities page. If you would like to bring food, gifts or other donations please feel free to do so. The monastery exists only through donations. See the What to Bring pages for a guide. On Sundays, the laypeople bring cooked food and other gifts to offer to the monks. The food is shared by all who attend.
