Reviewed By: Ruby Grad Portland Friends of the Dhamma hosts a number of visiting teachers every year. Please check our website (www.pdxdhamma.org) to find out who will be coming. There are also a number of regular groups that meet at our center. Two groups affiliated with our tradition are the Tuesday Group and the Friday Group, both of which meet from 7-9 p.m. every week. There is also an Upasika Program for people who want to strengthen their commitment to this tradition. The Upasika Program meets once a month for a daylong and travels together once a year to Abhayagiri Monastery. Not associated with this particular tradition are two groups from other lineages that use the center on a regular basis.
