Center's Description
We are a buddhist group based in San Diego, California.

Our group practices according to the Karma Kagyu tradition originating in Tibet.

The Karmapa represents the highest spiritual authority, currently in his 17th incarnation as H.H.Trinlay Thaye Dorje. Our group was created being inspired by the work of Lama Ole Nydahl.

Diamond Way means Vajrajana in Sanskrit, which encompasses symbolic and practical techniques used while working with the classic Buddhist themes of compassion and emptiness.

The view of Diamond Way is Mahamudra supported by verifiable non-dogmatic teachings, meditation, and means to maintain a level that has been reached.

The Diamond Way groups have a democratic structure and function through unpaid, voluntary work on the basis of idealism and friendship. The members share the responsibility for guiding meditations, answering questions and giving teachings.
