Center's Description
Sakya Samten Ling Buddhist center was founded by Lama Jampa Thaye in 2010 to provide an opportunity for people in Santa Monica and Los Angeles to make contact with the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The Sakya Buddhist centre offers a range of meditation classes and teaching events to enable people to learn the traditional Sakya Buddhist teachings and Buddhist meditation techniques.

Lama Jampa Thaye visits twice each year giving teachings and initiations and the center acts as a base for the great masters of the Sakya tradition to visit and give teachings in the West Los Angeles area.

The Sakya Buddhist centre is located on Franklin St, just South of Wilshire Boulevard , near Centinela on the border of Santa Monica, Brentwood and West LA.
