Center's Description
Shambhala is a vision of an enlightened society that expresses the dignity of human experience and joins spiritual inspiration with practicality. It is also a worldwide network of meditation centers providing instruction, classes, and programs, founded by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, a master of the Shambhala and Tibetan Buddhist meditation traditions, and directed by the Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. There are three Gates to Shambhala -- paths by which we can begin to awaken to this world: Buddhist practice, Shambhala Training, and contemplative arts.

Group meditation is held every Sunday from 9AM to Noon, and every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7 to 9PM. Free instruction for beginning meditators is available at these times—please come and join us!
