Center's Description
We are a Buddhist community that meets regularly for meditation, exploration of the teachings of Buddhism, and mutual support in cultivating the path of practice. We draw primarily from the Vipassana (Insight Meditation) and Thich Nhat Hanh traditions, but are open to insights from the full spectrum of Buddhist teaching. Instruction in basic meditation practice is offered on the third Monday of each month beginning at 7:30 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome. While the Eno River Buddhist Community is an ongoing group, all activities are open to everyone.
