"Am I inviting mindfulness into each moment, or indulging in mindless repetition of the forms of meditation practice, mistaking the form for the essence of it?"

Center's Description
After over a decade, the Columbus Zen Corner became Zen Columbus Sangha reflecting our evolution from a loosely organized study and meditation group to a sangha, or community of Zen practitioners. We practice Zen in the tradition of the Diamond Sangha lineage as established by Robert Aitken. According to Aitken Roshi, the heart of Zen is the practice of zazen – meditation – and everything flows from this center.

We are grateful for our ongoing contact with Daniel Terragno Roshi of the Diamond Sangha lineage, our dharma friends from the Yellow Springs and Dayton Zen groups and the First Unitarian Universalist Church, our new home since September of 2004

We are delighted to welcome new members, please see our schedule for open meditation or orientation programs.
