Center's Description
The Houston Shambhala Meditation Center is part of an international community of more than 170 meditation centers founded by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and now led by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.

Our local center offers free meditation instruction, public meditation hours, and a core curriculum of Shambhala Buddhist teachings. We invite you to visit and explore these teachings, designed to help people of all traditions discover their inherent sanity, gentleness and humor.

People of all religious and spiritual traditions are welcome. Our members, friends, and visitors discover that meditation practice enriches their chosen spiritual traditions.
