Center's Description
Dorje Denma Ling is located at The Falls, in the Cobequid Mountains of Nova Scotia, one and one-half hours drive northwest of the city of Halifax. It consists of nearly 400 acres of meadowland and forest overlooking the Northumberland Strait near the village of Tatamagouche, where you will find such amenities as a drugstore, laundromat, grocery stores and a hospital. It is close to sandy beaches and the beautiful falls from which the area derives its name.

Rigden Dzong Program Center , located at Dorje Denma Ling, is a rustic retreat and conference facility which offers practice and study in the Shambhala and Buddhist traditions as taught by the late Venerable Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche and his son, the present leader, Sakyong Mipham, Rinpoche. It is one of the many centers throughout North America and Europe under the parent organization of Shambhala International.

The program center facility includes an outdoor pavilion, indoor shrine rooms, kitchen, dining area, sleeping rooms, shower rooms and bathrooms. In the summer participants are housed in spacious two-person tents; in winter, in dormitory rooms and the shrine room.
