The tag line on Unfettered Mind’s website reads ‘Pragmatic Buddhism’ and that is exactly what you’ll find offered at this center. I had been meditating on my own for a little over a year and found myself wanting more out of my practice. So I started to attend a weekly class at Unfettered Mind. The opportunity to ask practice questions was invaluable and the answers and guidance given were clear, insightful, and . . . well, pragmatic. If you are one for whom ceremony and tradition play an important part in spiritual practice then you may want to look elsewhere. But if you seek to understand both the spiritual essence of the dharma as well as the direct and practical application of it in one’s life, then Unfettered Mind is a great place to study.
